Dibon offers a complete range of services to help clients develop and implement collaborative commerce with customers, suppliers and service providers.
Collaborative Commerce
Collaborative commerce is about the ways in which business partners interact, first in process and then through electronic technology, in order to plan, design, buy, sell, distribute, and support goods and services across an end-to-end supply chain network. Dibon offers a complete range of services to help clients develop and implement collaborative commerce with customers, suppliers and service providers.
B2B Exchanges - B2B exchanges and markets provide retailers new access to manufacturers and vendors access to new buyers at very low cost of communication. Our Net Markets group is a leader in designing and building public B2B exchanges and markets for both CoBAM (Coalition of Brick and Mortar) and independent sponsors and private B2B exchanges for individual companies.
B2B Integration - Inter-enterprise process integration requires the frictionless exchange of information between trading partners. Information exchange may be managed at the document level using industry EDI or XML standards, or at the applications level using eAI and other tools. Our B2B integration services help clients develop and implement the integration strategies and technologies that are most appropriate for each business partner type.
Enterprise Relationship Management (ERM) - Collaboration must occur within the enterprise (intra-enterprise) and with customers, suppliers and other business partners (inter-enterprise). Our ERM services enable clients to select and deploy the best collaboration tools that provide users with access to the information they need while maintaining appropriate levels of security and confidentiality.
e-Procurement - e-Procurement has generated substantial savings for retailers, most especially in their purchases of expense items, but also for certain types of merchandise. Strategic sourcing and purchasing consortia lead to lower purchase costs while procurement tools control rogue purchasing throughout the company. Our Procurement group helps clients develop first procurement strategies for expense items and to implement the processes and systems to realize the potential savings. Once the electronic pathways are built, they can be leveraged into the merchandising arena with minimal organizational disruption.
Supply Chain Planning- Coordinating the flow and deployment of both merchandise and operational supplies is essential to maximizing customer service levels while minimizing inventories. In a collaborative commerce environment this coordination is frequently happening across enterprise boundaries, creating additional communication and coordination challenges. Our Supply Chain Planning group helps clients develop planning strategies and implement intra- and inter-enterprise solutions using tools from i2 and Manugistics, as well as other tools when appropriate.
E-strategy
The Internet is enabling us to assemble, access and distribute information at a scale and cost never before possible. Transaction costs can be cut dramatically and decisions made on accurate real-time data that eliminate much of the waste in the retail / consumer goods supply chain. "Information on demand" is a reality for consumers, associates, customers, suppliers and other trading partners.
These changes bring both new opportunities as well as challenges to the leaders of retailing organizations. Opportunities for revenue growth come from better serving existing customers, and from new markets and new channels. Challenges include direct threats such as ubiquitous product availability and disintermediation, as well as the challenges of bringing new business processes and operating technologies into the enterprise.
Dibon's e-Strategy services are designed to help retailers assess these opportunities and threats, establish clear priorities supported by realistic business cases and create the roadmap for effective, timely implementation. |
